Senior Manager, International Regulatory Affairs, Lloyd’s
Shortlisted Candidate 2014
I’m delighted and honoured to have been selected as a shortlisted candidate for the Future Leaders Award and am very grateful to Lloyd’s for nominating me. I’m excited about being part of the excellent work Women in the City is doing to recognise success and promote leadership for women.
Kim leads the International Regulatory Development team at Lloyd’s, within the International Regulatory Affairs department, responsible for protecting and developing Lloyd’s international trading rights.
Kim has worked with Lloyd’s since 2000, initially with the London office of Lloyd’s Japan Inc, then with the International Regulatory Affairs department, initially with responsibility for Asia-Pacific and Africa and latterly in a role overseeing the regulatory activities of Lloyd’s overseas network. She has worked on secondment in Singapore, Shanghai and Tokyo. From January 2012 to May 2014, Kim was the Lloyd’s General Representative for Hong Kong, responsible for maintaining Lloyd’s trading status in Hong Kong and overseeing the companies trading under Lloyd’s licence, as well as promoting Lloyd’s within the Hong Kong insurance market.
Kim enjoys the opportunity to use her skills outside of work and is currently a Trustee of Guy Fox History Project, an award winning children’s educational charity.
