This year we’re holding the 2017 Future Leaders Award launch on 20 February at a by invitation only event to be hosted by Award Sponsors, HSBC, at their Canary Wharf headquarters.
We look forward to welcoming previous candidates, finalists and winners of the Future Leader Awards, our sponsors and supporters and those looking to find out more about The Future Leaders Awards.
You can watch a short video of our 2016 launch event here.
If you’re looking for a way to recognise the remarkable women in your organisation who have Executive Board potential or you feel it’s time you were recognised why not consider getting involved?
Who are our future leaders?
They’re women who
- have the Executive Board on their horizon
- are making a contribution above and beyond their technical and functional area
- will benefit from the Winner’s Prize – a place on the ICAEW’s Women in Leadership programme
Not only that, they are leading the way for other women too.
For more information about what we are looking for and the benefits of applying please read this.
We are not just looking for City of London based applicants or women working only in the professions. We’re open to women who work for any organisation based in the UK with over 250 employees. We’d love to get more non-London based candidates and those from a wide range of business sectors – including public, private and third-sector organisations.
How to nominate
Candidates can nominate themselves or be nominated by someone else. They then receive our application form where we ask around 10 questions to find out a bit more about them.
Our judging process is rigorous and whittles our candidates down to a shortlist of 10 who are then interviewed by a panel of Judges. Our 5 finalists, including the overall winner of the 2017 Future Leaders Award Winner, will be announced at our Award Ceremony in June.
Dates for 2017
Nominations Open: 9 January
Launch Event: 20 February
Applications Close: 21 April
Interviews: 26 May
